Robot Bears Trilogy

With humanity's back placed firmly against the wall, hemmed in on all sides by nature's whims and its intolerance of our inexorable progress. One man, engulfed in the fires of rage and reason strives to wrench from nature's unfeeling hands, humanity's birthright: unfettered progress, Terran dominance, chose as the archetype of humanity's aggression, the domination of one of Terran's feircest species, THE BEAR.

Bears
(Bears are strong)
Robot bears are stronger
(Bears are brave)
Robot bears are braver
(Bears are fast)
Robot bears are faster
Descending from the mountain to make themselves our master
Chapter 1: The robot bear is braver
Steel born of blood, the hubris born
From the depths of the mountainous north
Humanity's champion comes forth
Armed with reason
(Fulled by rage)
To break the bonds of humanity's cage
From his lab in the roots of the mountain
Laboring to discover the fountain
Equipped with purpose
(Unwilling to change it)
He took nature
Then he enhanced it
We'll install our own king
To the bear subjection bring
(Steel is strong)
Flesh is weak
The kind of the bears for us will speak
It's ours
We deserve it
By right and because we've earned it
(Bears are strong)
Robot bears are stronger
(Bears are brave)
Robot bears are braver
(Bears are fast)
Robot bears are faster
Descending from the mountain to make themselves our master
Chapter 2: The Robot Bear is Braver
Other bears of their king beware
There's no cowardice in software
Faced with fear he's standing mute
For the robot bear fear doesn't compute
There's no script that contains an error
Robot bear ruling through sheer terror
For fear in battle, he contains no mode
It's not written in the robot code
Our strength instantiated
Our future, we'll create it
Cravenness isn't the wiring
He rages on never tiring
What is defeat in his kingly position?
He doesn't know, he's got no definition
He'll serve with no resistance
No need to keep a distance
We'll never know the wrath of his paws
He'd never violate the robot laws
Our strength instantiated
Our future, we'll create it
Final chapter: The Robot Bear is Faster
A blur a streak is all you can see
Now we're lying at the robot's knee
What do we do? With us lies the onus
Bears have mates, robot bears have cloners
Too many, how did they multiply?
The original, how did he death defy?
Such speed, pride affronted
We were the hunters now we are the hunted
Our ways are going extinguished
Pride from hubris we failed to distinguish
Hiding in the forest as our customs die
Robot bears we cannot deny
They rage
As we run low on phasers
Bears have eyes robot bears have lasers
Such quickness we can not hope to match
Humans are not hard to catch
Such speed, pride affronted
We were the hunters now we are the hunted
Our ways are going extinguished
Pride from hubris we failed to distinguish
(Nature)
Rages along with humanity
(Freedom)
The lofty goal of insanity
(Reason)
The banquet leading to starvation
(Ethos)
Ruined by self-preservation
(Humans are strong)
Robot bears are stronger
(Humans are brave)
Robot bears are braver
(Humnas are fast)
Robot bears are faster
Descending from the mountain to make themselves our master

I passed out at the starting gate
Hope it's true it's never too late
Laziness has sealed my fate
I slept through my expiration date
I feel myself getting' older
Hope it means I don't get colder
What's this weight upon my shoulder?
Am I pinned down by a boulder?
(I get too comfortable)
Can't get myself out the door
(I get too comfortable)
Never wanted anything more
I think about where I could be
Should have started before thirty-three
Look in a mirror what do I see?
Just some loser staring back at me.
I could never choose an option
I proceed with too much caution
My head sounds just like an auction
Perpetually in exhaustion
(I get too comfortable)
Can't get myself out the door
(I get too comfortable)
Never wanted anything more
(I get too comfortable)
Gonna get myself out the door
(I get too comfortable)
Now I want something more
